All of Jack Storms glass sculptures are designed using a cold-working lathe. There is no heat involved in the process whatsoever. The materials used on each one of Jack Storms’ glass sculptures are 32% optical lead crystal, optical crystal and dichroic glass.

This artwork was originally included in the Plan B collection under the misunderstanding that it was a new Bitcoin Pinnacle. Because the artist committed to new Bitcoin Pinnacles only being sold for a price above the previous auction floor, the auction included a reserve that was not reached. It was later clarified that Bit Steele is an original piece and therefore can be auctioned without a reserve.
