Bitcoin is the mysterious creation of a mysterious inventor that creates an endless chain of mysteries for humanity to solve.

Bitcoin was a solution to a mystery that experts proved couldn’t be solved, making the impossible possible. It solved this mystery by creating an endless chain of mysteries. As each mystery is solved, a great treasure is unlocked and granted to an intrepid contestant. At the same time, a new mystery, with a new treasure is revealed.

Bitcoin uses the irresistible allure of mystery to draw us into its world. It anchors itself to our world through the mysteries it asks us to solve. Moreso, as it brings humanity closer it makes us ask bigger questions: What is time? What is money? What is truth? What is self-sovereignty?

This sculpture explores Bitcoin’s mysteries in code, architecture, technology, economics, and philosophy. M.C. Escher, like Satoshi, used mathematics to make the impossible possible, and you’ll find an homage to his design style within the piece.

In the spirit of mystery, I won’t explain the details within the sculpture. Instead, I invite you to explore, to discover its embedded mysteries. Know this, nothing is there by chance or happenstance, everything has a meaning, and every line is a piece of the puzzle - solving it is up to you.

I will provide the “Spoiler Alert” to the winner of the auction, containing the solutions to decode all the mysteries, should they want it. But fear not for those wanting to delve deeper - I got you.
