Chaotic Crypto has combined his love for mythology and bitcoin into this digital composition.

The artwork began in May 2022 and went through multiple renditions and creations in order to get the exact look and feel I was hoping to achieve.

The artwork is based off of the Moirai, from Greek and Roman mythos, the three goddesses who determine the fate and destinies of all mankind. In the mythology, they have knowledge and determination of one's life and death.

Their names were Clotho (Spinner), Lachesis (Allotter), and Atropos (Inflexible). Clotho spun the “thread” of human fate, Lachesis dispensed it, and Atropos cut the thread (thus determining the individual’s moment of death).

This piece was born out of a desire to depict the volatility of Bitcoin, while playing with emotion on each individual involved with it. Particles red and green float around depicting the candle colors on charts, while the Moirai remain steadfast in the background, they flicker between light and dark, effecting the emotion of individuals. Ultimately, the fate of bitcoin (as depicted in the piece) is secure, without Atropos cutting the thread, but instead holding it. All three Fates cling to the thread of Bitcoin playing on the hodl-nature that so many have come to embrace in Bitcoin culture.
