A handmade gemstone sculpture to show the Bitcoin price spiral over time. Inspired by the circular charts of Rational Root and Clockwork Partners.

The Brass price chart of Bitcoin starts in the center in 2009 and grows out, as price grows, to 2022. The Silver bar is angled to show 21minutes past the hour, and is shaped as an exponential log curve. The price is engraved along the top of the bar. Each line shows a 10X increase in value in $USD.

A Citrine gem engraved with the Bitcoin symbol floats above the center, to show when Bitcoin was created. The height shows the greater Alpha return in the early years. The gem is tilted slightly to show the rotation of the spiral.

The arch is engraved on one side with,“Inspired by @therationalroot “ and the Bitcoin halving schedule on the other side. A red Opal teardrop sits at the Bitcoin = $1 million mark. The Silver setting is engraved with the Infinity symbol on the top, and 21,000,000. Satoshi Nakamoto, on the sides.

The fossilized wood is around 21 million years old, and is a Black Ash from Oregon. A Silver plate has my signature on top with the blocktime #726177.

The wood is backed with a solid Brass plate. Presented in a handmade wooden box 12”by 12”, laser engraved with, Bitcoin 3D Spiral, Gareth Eckley, Blocktime# 726177.
