Silk Road #1/50 is from my 2017 homage to the early black market responsible for widespread Bitcoin adoption. The aqueous pigment inkjet archival rag print is signed, numbered and ships in a 3” deep frame featuring 99% UV protected, anti-glare masterpiece acrylic. The remaining prints have sold out.

About the artwork:

The original work was created from a kief blend, 60% THC hash oil and rolling papers. Auctioning a piece composed of drugs was meant to bring attention to the unjust sentence currently being served by Silk Road creator, Ross Ulbricht. The artwork blurs the lines of what should be considered legal. I hope it inspires others to question which aspects of the Silk Road’s operation should be considered legal and, more importantly, why they are not.
